Welcome to Hoodooloon's 31 Days of Halloween Movie Binge (2020 Edition)!
From the 1st - 31st October, I'll be queueing up my ultimate film recommendations to see you through The Season of Spook. Keep up if you can (I'll be glued to my sofa for 31 straight evenings) or pick and choose as you like. Every day I'll be posting a short blurb on the official Facebook group (coming soon) about why I chose each film, and hopefully fellow viewers will share their reviews in the comments! Worth noting that the majority of my selections aren't kid-friendly, and some may contain themes and imagery which viewers could find upsetting. Sadly there doesn't seem to be any kind of decent online database where you can get a list of trigger warnings for movies, but I'd imagine a few minutes spent on Google should tell you what you need to know.
Sadly many titles aren't available on popular subscription-based streaming services, but most are available to rent/buy online. I absolutely, definitely, totally, without a doubt do not condone people donning their tricorns, peg-legs, and parrots to plunder more illegitimate sources because legit ones pump our wallets dry for lacklustre selections. Totally not. Nuh uh. That would be naughty... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Each day of the week is a loose category:
Click on each film title to be transported to IMDB where you can find info on certification, run time, rating, cast, and check out photos and trailers. My original list was enormous and it was a nightmare to whittle it down. Here's the best of what didn't make the cut this year. And if all this isn't enough to sate your appetites, check out this list of my top horror/spooky TV shows that you can snack on between meals.

Each day of the week is a loose category:
- Mondays: Bodycounts - slashers, splatters, and no one alive by the end!
- Tuesdays: Sci-fi - in space, and from space.
- Wednesdays: Action - ass-kickings abound!
- Thursdays: Cult Favourites/Classics - no list would be complete without...
- Fridays: So Bad They're Good - seriously, these films are awful, and that's what makes them great.
- Saturdays: My Top 5 - my personal favourites for The Spooky Season.
- Sundays: Supernatural - ghosts, devils, and other not-of-this-worlds.
